I tried to install I2P on a Windows 8.1 machine with IKVM.NET 8.1 RC0 [link: www.ikvm.net].

The installer requires an Oracle JRE. So I installed Oracle JRE to satisfy it.
Also, since "java.exe" is hard-coded in I2P source code, I have to add IKVM to %PATH% and rename ikvm.exe to java.exe.

I2P runs happily with IKVM. But it can not work without Oracle JRE installed in the disk, or some libraries will be missing.

The performance is fairly good. But I have not done any benchmark on it.

Shall we update the trac wiki [link: trac.i2p2.i2p] to report the successful installment? And shall we make it less painful when running on IKVM.NET?

Not sure where that java.exe is hardcoded. Looks like i2prouter.bat. I don't know why you'd run ikvm if it requires the Oracle JRE, just run Oracle java. So what's the point of ikvm support at all?
