Description

We could create these as an optional way to install I2P. Freenet does it. Unfortunately you now need a trusted cert signed by somebody. This is used to sign all the jars. Not clear how you get a trusted cert.

However, with everybody moving away from Java-in-the-browser this may be an idea whose time has passed.

There is no longer a Java Web Start: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Java_Web_Start but there is apparently an IcedTea-Web: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IcedTea#IcedTea-Web which still exists. However, it seems like the main utility of this thing is to integrate with browsers like Firefox and Chromium, which I already did with i2p.plugins.firefox and i2p.firefox. So if it's necessary at all, maybe belongs in i2p.firefox instead.
